Pulmonary Function Testing

A spirogram is a cardio pulmonary test - a valuable tool for evaluating the respiratory system of workers who may have been exposed to asbestos, silica and/or coal dust. These tests, required under Section 40 of the OH&S Code, need to be done within 60 days of a worker's exposure to asbestos, silica or coal dust and then every two years thereafter.

All ACESO Medical spirometry tests are performed by our team of provincially certified pulmonary function technicians who are held to the highest professional standards. Test records are maintained free of charge in our secure database. Not only can you rest assured that your employee’s medical records will be held in the strictest of confidence, according to all current legislation, but that you know our team of OccMed Physicians will take the very best care of the employees.

With ACESO Medical your workers’ health has never been in more secure hands.
