Audiometric Testing

Audiometric testing is the process of testing an employee's hearing to determine if the working environment is creating long term hearing loss.

These tests must legally be done within 6 months of your beginning to work in a noisy environment (equal to or over an average of 85 dBA), a year after that baseline and then every two years there after.

Our provincially trained nurses / technicians can perform these tests either onsite or in our clinic.

For our clients who wish to have the testing done onsite, our cutting edge mobile units were designed with efficiency and medical confidentiality in mind. Constructed with top of the line acoustical insulation, our single man units provide the perfect combination of test quality and privacy to ensure your employees are free to ask the questions they need to about the testing process.

Hearing Protection Device Fit Testing

As of March 2023, Alberta legislation provided a new legal requirement that workers who are exposed to loud noise in the workplace must have hearing protection devices fit tested.

Hearing protection device fit testing ensures that employees are using their hearing protection devices properly. This minimizes noise-related hazards in the workplace. Aceso Medical provides both quantitative and qualitative testing
