No Show Policy
Every missed appointment is a missed chance to help another patient. In effort to ensure we help as many people as possible, we require 24 hours cancellation notice for all appointments. Missed or late cancelled appointments shall be changed and the fee must be paid before seeing another physician at our clinic.
Abuse Policy
We believe in developing a healthy, friendly clinic in which all parties feel comfortable. As such, Aceso Medical will NOT tolerate any form of verbal or physical abuse. This policy applies equally to staff, physicians and patients. We understand that being sick is never fun but any abuse may lead to dismal from the practice. If you have any concerns or questions about this policy please feel free to contact the clinic manager.
Phone/Fax Prescriptions refills
Sadly as we are a walk-in clinic our physicians cannot refill prescriptions by phone or fax. Should you require a refill your are more than welcome to come visit us again.
Due to privacy reasons we will not give test results out over the phone. Should you wish to discuss your results we request that you make a follow-up appointment to talk with the physician.
Results
Alberta Health and Wellness does not cover some medical forms. Should you require sick notes, return to work forms or other such documentation you will be required to pay for them prior to receiving them. Should you require any information on what is not covered by Alberta Health Services please contact one of our staff or see the AHS website at AHS Uninsured Services.
